Things to Know About Your Service Before we Arrive:
- PETS: For their protection and ours, please make sure your cherished family pet(s) are in a safe and secure location while we are working.
- FURNITURE and items on the carpet: Please move anything where you would like the carpet cleaned that can be safely moved including small items (lamps, plants, wastebaskets, clothing, shoes, etc.) and medium-sized furniture (chairs, tables, etc.). We do not move large pieces like beds and dressers and breakable items such as entertainment stands and china cabinets. When necessary we can move things like couches and loveseats.
- DRAPES: Lift the bottom of window drapes off the floor (unless I am going to be inspecting for pet urine and there are no window blinds).
- BED LINENS: Lift up or tuck under mattress/boxspring so nothing is close to the carpet.
- FLOOR AIR VENTS: Remove and set out of the way whenever possible.
- VACUUMING: No need to vacuum; we will be thoroughly vacuuming as well as detail vacuuming around baseboards and furniture.
- DRIVEWAY/GARAGE: If possible please clear any vehicles from your driveway, and if we’re going to be entering your home through the garage also move the vehicle on the side of the garage closest to the door to the house.
- BAD WEATHER: If you have an attached garage and weather conditions are rainy, snowy or below freezing, having access to pull my van into your garage is helpful.
- WATER SOURCE: We bring our own.
- BEING THERE: You don’t need to be home while we’re working; we can make arrangements if necessary.
- PAYMENT METHOD: Cash, check, Venmo, Cash App, PayPal, debit/credit card.
- DRY TIME: Depending on the condition of your carpet and process we use it usually takes from 2-12 hours to dry. To speed things up turn on the thermostat air/heat and fan, and ceiling fans, and put out any portable fans.
- FRAGRANCE-FREE: Please let me know if you would like for me to use fragrance-free products (carpet cleaning only).
